Specifically,
git-gc --aggressive --prune=all
This shrinks it quite a lot.

We are going to want to test alternation/deletion of symlinks and
non-644 files.
To test this we need to switch to using example_1.1.orig.tar.gz (and
the corresponding git branch in the worktree), so that we have
such existing objects.

git-reflog expire --expire-unreachable=now --all
Without this, this worktree causes git-fsck to complain!

This working tree has some patch queues etc. in it, which will be
useful for testing --quilt=gbp.
