+<h2>Description</h2>
+
+<p>The '<nobr>char-upcase</nobr>' function converts the 'char' expression to
+upper case. The upper case equivalent of 'char' is returned. <nobr>If
+the</nobr> 'char' is not alphabetic <nobr>[a-z or A-Z],</nobr> the
+character is returned unchanged.</p>
